The free diagnostic, equation solver, and practice generator run in your browser. They do not create an account or send your math entries to AlgebraGenius.
Information you choose to provide
If you subscribe to the newsletter, the form provider and email service may store your email address and subscription status so the requested messages can be sent. The newsletter is for adults and learners age 13 or older. A learner under 13 should not enter personal information and should ask a parent or guardian to subscribe instead.
Information generated by hosting
The web host may process routine request information such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested page, and timestamps for security, reliability, and aggregate traffic reporting. Review and update this section to name the chosen host before launch.
Analytics
This starter version does not include a third-party analytics script. It contains event hooks for aggregate actions such as completing the diagnostic or clicking a paid link. If analytics are added, this policy must be updated first. Do not add behavioral advertising or persistent tracking without a child-privacy review.
Affiliate links
Links to Amazon include the Associate tag jdmunoz-20. When you follow an outbound link, the retailer receives the request and applies its own privacy policy, cookies, and transaction practices. AlgebraGenius does not receive your Amazon order details.
Children’s privacy
Interactive learning content can be used without providing personal information. Newsletter and contact features are not offered for direct use by children under 13. If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 was collected without appropriate parental involvement, we will delete it. Operators of educational and mixed-audience sites should review the FTC’s current COPPA guidance and obtain legal advice for the final data flow.
Retention and deletion
Keep newsletter data only while a person is subscribed or as required for legitimate compliance records. Every marketing email should include an unsubscribe link. Requests to access or delete information can be sent to privacy@algebragenius.com. Configure this mailbox before launch.
Changes
This policy should be reviewed whenever analytics, advertising, forms, account features, or new vendors are added. Material changes should be dated and communicated where appropriate.
